Hairy legs, not the most attractive thing for a woman to have so we have to shave, use hair remover cream or wax. For those that don’t know, these days though, we can also use something called an epilator. It’s a device that works a bit like a cross between an electric shaver and wax strips. Epilators pull the hair out of the legs as you move it over the leg.

I had heard of epilators many years ago but the scare stories put me buying one but recent hassle and expense with beauty salon visits coupled with unsuccessful attempts to wax my own legs lead me to try the Braun Silk Epil Review . I have to say that I was impressed by it. Straightforward to use, just basically plug in and move the device over your legs. You have to press on gently and hold the skin taut in places but other than that, no hassle at all. It doesn’t really hurt well no more than waxing. In fact I would say that it stings slightly less that leg waxing. I would not recommend it for use on the bikini line, it does leave the skin looking a bit red and is probably too harsh for that sensitive area. Also I don’t recommend for the underarm area. However for legs, it’s ideal really. Like waxing, you need to wait until the hair is about a cm in length. Any shorter and it just wont work. Beware of in-growing hairs too.

It’s easy to clean, just comes with a handy little brush to sweep the hairs out afterwards. I suggest that you don’t use it immediately before showing off your legs, it will leave then a little red. Do it the day before you intend to go out.

I really like the product and don’t intend to go back to waxing. I hope you love my Silk Epil Review .

I bought Braun Silk Epil Review Soft Perfection electric hair remover after doing some online research and reading customer feedback. It seemed like a good product within my preferred price range, plus I had already owned a Braun hair remover before, and it was good, so I decided to go with the same brand.

The device is compact and conveniently shaped, with a cord that is long enough and allows free movement. It has removable epilation head and a massaging roller attachment that is supposed to reduce pain as you work on removing unwanted hair. When I tried it for the first time, I had out on the roller attachment, but I found it pretty much useless: it was making the device some what bulky and scratching my skin. I removed it, and proceeded to use the device as it is. I like it much better this way, and I would not say that it hurts that much. There is of course some mild unpleasant sensation as you get your hair pulled out, but it is tolerable, and you get more and more accustomed to it as you continue the procedure.

Braun Silk Epil Review Soft Perfection is very effective. It gets rid of longer and smaller hair, leaving my legs nice and smooth. I only use it once every two weeks, that how long the result lasts. According to the manual, it can be used on underarms as well, but I have not tried it, I prefer shaving there. There are two speeds, with a speed-changing button on the front part of the hair remover. I only use Speed 2, which is higher, I think it works better this way.

The device comes with a cleaning brush that should be used to clean the tweezers inside the epilation head. I clean them after each use, and I find it quick and easy. Of course, the device must be unplugged for cleaning.

I am pleased with this hair remover, it does what it is supposed to do, with lasting results and minimal discomfort.
